Can somebody please set the table!

Now I can’t guarantee that the table this kid is standing on is an Iceberg table because unfortunately I wasn’t alive back then, but if I had to guess, based on the sturdiness of the table from the picture, I’d say it probably is…  I’m also led to believe this because rumors have it that this kid lived his entire life “standing on tables” (where are the parents in this situation) and when I think about which tables on the market are strong enough to support kids who become grown men and stand on tables, Iceberg wooden tables come to mind.

Back in 2000 these two guys below: Howard Green and Rich Gilbert created Iceberg Enterprises.  (Rich is sitting on a chair on the table… does he know the kid above?  Is this what people are doing these days?)

Based out of Park Ridge, IL with a manufacturing plant in Sturgis, MI, this is pure American manufacturing at its truest form.  Despite the ever-growing range of products; from chairs, storage cabinets, dry-erase boards, etc… it’s safe to say the “meat” on their plate is still their folding-tables.

Whether its our blow-molded high density polyethylene tables (I needed my Science degree to even write-that) or our more traditional wood laminate folding tables (in the photo below) Iceberg knows how to produce tables.

For your next table purchase… Think Iceberg tables, they’re American breed and they’ve been keeping kids who stand on tables safe since the year 2000!

How much do you think a blow-molded Iceberg table weighs vs. this wooden table? I’ll betcha 3-to-1!
