Ringing always in your ears? Could be your job site is too loud and you need ear protection, my friend.
OSHA requires hearing protection when the noise level is above 85 dB (based on intensity and duration of the hazard). And that ringing is called tinnitus, by the way. Stress, anxiety, high blood pressure and of course hearing loss are other effects of sustained time near extra loud noises, so don’t gamble with this one!
Protect yourself and your employees with earplugs or earmuffs from 3M. The Motley Guy reviews the PELTOR Optime™ 95 Over-the-Head Earmuffs, providing 21 decibels of hearing protection.
Need to have a conversation with someone in purchasing? Ask your Motley Rep to join and give him or her a little notice if sample earmuffs are helpful for the meeting, OK? Also, this fact sheet from OSHA will outline the bigger risks to watch out for.
As always, ask your office supply rep for pricing and stay safe, my friends!
